The Western Cape Department of Health says new covid-19 infections, deaths and hospitalizations continue to decline in the province. The Department says there are currently 524 patients admitted in both the public and private sector facilities. Of these, 106 patients are in ICU or High Care. The Department says its acute-care platform is currently operating at 74% in the Metro, and 63% in Rural areas, with only 5% of these admissions being actual covid-19 admissions.
