The Western Cape Department of Health says nearly a thousand people have been vaccinated in the province, since the start of phase 2 of the vaccination campaign, early yesterday.

In total, 939 people, over the age of 60, had received their Covid-19 injection, at the province’s healthcare centers.

Healthcare workers will also today be deployed to old-age homes, to vaccinate pensioners there.
