The US is going through the worst stage of its coronavirus outbreak since the pandemic began – that’s the word from the top infectious diseases expert in the country, doctor Anthony Fauci. Fauci told the BBC new records appeared to be set every day, with between 100 and 200-thousand new cases and one to two-thousand deaths seen daily.
