The South African Revenue Service has called on tax-payers, who have received auto-assessment sms’s, to file and submit their tax-returns before the end of the day. SARS sent SMSes to tax-payers, notifying them of their auto-assessment earlier this month and says if tax-payers are in agreement with the assessment, to file their returns by the end of the day.
