The national Health Department says the Western Cape reported 13 additional Covid-19 related deaths over the last 24-hour monitoring period.

The province’s Covid death toll has now risen to 11 764.

To date, 107 201 Western Cape residents have been vaccinated against the virus.

Since last week Monday, more than 14,000 residents, including pensioners and health workers, have already received their injection.
