The health department says the country is still in the grip of a third wave of the covid-19 pandemic.

It will officially be out of the wave when the positivity rate is less than 10%. At the moment, the rate is 21.2%. The positivity rate is the number of tests, that comes back with a positive result. This as coronavirus cases rose by 7 773 yesterday. 370 deaths were reported which raises the official death toll to 70 388.
