The head of the Western Cape health department, dr Keith Cloete, says according to a poll among provincial health care workers, 54% will take a vaccine as soon as it’s available. Cloete says 1 600 workers were polled – 79% work directly with patients and 21% in offices or perform administrative duties. He says 19% indicated that they would NOT take a vaccine.
