The GOAT! Akani Simbine breaks Usain Bolt’s 100m record

Our sprinting superstar Akani Simbine has made history!

 

Simbine has officially become the GOAT of sprinting after achieving the feat of running sub-10 in the 100m for 11 straight years, breaking Usain Bolt’s record of 10 consecutive sub-10 seasons!

 

 

 

The icon raced to the fastest time in the 100 metres in the world earlier this month, clocking a time of 9.90 seconds at the FNB Botswana Golden Grand Prix.
