The Department of Health says that 36 new covid-19 related deaths were reported in the country yesterday, bringing the national covid-19 death-toll to 19,845. Over the past 24-hour monitoring period, more than 1,200 new infections have been recorded, bringing South Africa’s overall infection-rate to 738,525.
