The Democratic Alliance has emerged as the biggest loser in yesterday’s nationwide by-elections, losing wards to the ANC and other political opponents across the country. Early results showed the ANC took a DA ward in the Emfuleni Local Municipality, while the DA lost three seats in the City of Johannesburg. The Good party took one seat from the DA in George in the Western Cape.
