The Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution says the Zondo Commission’s application for yet another extension indicates that planning for the finalisation of the report has not been as tight as it should be.

On Tuesday, the commission filed an urgent application, arguing it would not meet the end of December deadline it had previously received from the Gauteng High Court. The new application is expected to be heard on the 28th of  December.
