The City of Cape Town says workers have been deployed to several areas across the Metro, after reports of up-rooted trees and debris blocking roads. This is due to very strong winds in the Peninsula, that are expected to persist today. Strong winds and uprooted trees also caused damage to property in Nyanga and Gugulethu.
