Departing from its traditional March slot, this year’s festival is back on 3 and 4 May 2024 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), promising a musical extravaganza that has been sorely missed by fans.

Reimagined Stages: The festival unveils four reimagined stages – Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, and the all-new outside stage, Topaz. Formerly known as Kippies, Moses Molelekwa, and Rosies, these stages will set the scene for a dazzling showcase of seasoned maestros and emerging stars from around the world.

Electrifying Fusion: Lindsay Rhoda, Head of Talent at CTIJF, hints at an electrifying fusion of heritage and innovation, catering to both local and international audiences. Rhoda promises a program that pays homage to jazz roots while embracing the diverse genres shaping the future of music.

Stellar Line-Up: Among the artists gracing the stage are UK sensations Matt Bianco, Kokoroko, and The Yussef Dayes Experience, alongside a stellar South African line-up featuring Nduduzo Makhathini Trio, Mandisi Dyantyis, and many more.

Flavour Junction: Adding fresh energy, the all-new Flavour Junction awaits Festinos with food trucks, bars, and tantalizing treats, ensuring an unforgettable culinary experience alongside the Topaz stage.

Revamped VIP Hospitality: Festival organizers, espAfrika, unveil a revamped VIP hospitality offering with Jazz Ensemble, a luxurious lounge featuring a sumptuous buffet and complimentary beverages, and Jazz Café, catering to Festinos seeking a premium experience.

Enlightening Masterclasses: Back by popular demand, enlightening artist masterclasses offer enthusiasts a rare opportunity to glean insights from industry-leading music minds.

Ticket Information: General admission festival tickets are priced at R950 per night per person, granting access to Sapphire and Topaz stages. Surcharge tickets for Emerald and Ruby are available at R30 per person per show, ensuring an intimate experience for festival-goers.
