Food delivery company Deliveroo has released a song that supposedly deters hungry seagulls. A gull expert and a team of sound engineers helped produce the tune that’s layered with calls from falcons and eagles, that are apparently threatening to the common seabird. The song is called “Bye Gull Bye” and in the words of the Smile Breakfast team – it’s a deep house avian banger:

The song was produced in Ireland so Lindy decided to test it out on the infamous Cape Town seagull:

Apparently Capetonian gulls feel nothing for the song that’s supposed to scare them. And it seems that there are many incidents of seabird crime in the Mother City:
