The case is now set to resume in September this year.

Shivambu is accused of assaulting Netwerk24 photographer, Adrian de Kock in March of 2018.

Shivambu pleaded not guilty to common assault after de Kock reported the altercation to police.

News24 reporter Jason Felix, who is a State witness, testified in court yesterday.

Three more witnesses are expected to testify when the case returns to Court.
