The ANC’s national executive committee is due to meet this weekend to consider a report on coalition talks, including an update of potential agreements, relating to hung municipalities.

Netwerk24 is reporting that the IFP in Kwa-Zulu-Natal has announced that it will work with the ANC in that province, after earlier saying, it would not work with the ruling party.
Meanwhile, the DA says it notes the IEC report on donations declared by political parties for 2021 quarter 2 and have already engaged the commission on the inadequacies of the report from quarter 1. In particular, the party has raised concern that there’s no report on which parties failed to submit reports and there’s no report on zero returns. It asks that the matter be resolved urgently.
