The ANC in the Western Cape will be taking action against councillors involved in a scuffle during a council sitting in the Theewaterskloof municipality.

Chaos broke out when ANC and EFF members clashed. The ANC reportedly disrupted the meeting after the party refused to allow the current municipal manager to oversee the proceedings. After which, they resorted to violence. In videos circulating on social media, ANC councillors were seen turning over tables and allegedly physically attacking an EFF member.
