Stellenbosch University has confirmed that the white student, who urinated on the property of a black student, on Sunday, has been suspended. A spokesperson, Martin Viljoen says the university strongly condemns the destructive, hurtful and racist incident, that was captured on a cellphone video in the Huis Marais residence. According to the SA Students Congress, a white student broke into a black student’s room at the residence and urinated on his belongings. This lead to protests yesterday on campus. An investigation has been launched.
