Spilling the tea about tea drinkers

It’s International Tea Day and it seems like those who enjoy a hot cup of their favourite beverage face some controversial opinions by those who prefer coffee.

Apologies to all the tea drinkers who may have been upset about the comments made on The Ryan O’Connor Breakfast Show this morning.

Tea opinions that cause controversies at home

According to the Daily Edge publication, these are the questions that raise controversy in the tea drinking world:

  1. Do you serve your tea in a cup or a pot?
  2. One step further – cup or mug?
  3. What comes first – the teabag or the water?
  4. Does the teabag stay in the cup while you drink? This seems to cause many a domestic dispute.
  5. Do you stir the tea with your pinky like a sophisticated adult or do you squeeze the bag like a reckless child looking for the strongest possible flavour of tea?

Enjoy your tea, folks. Don’t let anyone take your hot cuppa happiness away from you
