South Africa’s name has finally been removed from the United Kingdom’s restrictive red list, which prohibited travel between the two countries since May.

The announcement was made last Thursday but the delisting only came into effect today. Meanwhile, the City of Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Opportunities and Tourism, James Vos, says the Mother City is ready for UK tourists.
