South Africa recorded a further 38 Covid-19 fatalities, over the past 24-hour monitoring period, with the country’s death toll increasing to 54 186. The Western Cape reported the highest death toll in the country yesterday, with 17 Western Cape residents dying from the virus. In the Eastern Cape 5 deaths were reported, in the Free State 5, Gauteng 3, Kwa-Zulu Natal one, in Limpopo 5 and the Northern Cape 2.
