South Africa has recorded another 243 Covid-19 deaths and 4 551 new infections, while the recovery rate has improved to more than 87%. The Eastern Cape has reported the most deaths, with 10 137, while KwaZulu-Natal has the highest number of active cases, with more than 46 000.
