South Africa has administered 25 million Covid-19 vaccine doses, as more than 14 million people have reached full vaccination.

According to the Department of Health, more than 379 000 children have also received one vaccine dose. Meanwhile, the majority of new cases of covid-19 in the country have been reported in Gauteng with 80% of the new cases, followed by the Western Cape with 5%.
