Published on

The Solidarity Fund says it will now disperse funds to assist flood-affected residents of the KwaZulu-Natal province.

After its set-up in 2020, the Fund recently announced that it will wrap up its operations at the end of September 2022.

Spokesperson Didi Masoetsa says the knowledge & experience they garnered during the Covid-19 pandemic, would be valuable in the roll-out of emergency funding to affected residents in KZN.

Masoetsa says residents there urgently need access to food and clean drinking water.
