Slipper Day is back and Reach for A Dream aims to raise R15million towards making dreams come true

Reach For A Dream’s cosiest annual fundraiser, Slipper Day, is back on 29 May 2026. The organisation’s Heidi Rowley from Reach for A Dream joined us to tell us more about this year’s plans.

Since 2011, Slipper Day has united the nation in support of children facing serious or life-threatening diseases. This year Reach for ambitions to raise R15 million towards making dreams come true. To find out more about Slipper day and place orders click here.

Phil de Lange is the producer of the Ryan O'Connor Breakfast show and has been with Smile 90.4FM since it's inception in 2013. Through his work on the breakfast show he has won two national radio awards. He has been in broadcasting for 15 years and has honed his talent at 6 different radio stations. Outside of radio he is also a podcast producer and award winning stand-up comedian.
