SA’s Stephen Mokoka & Kenya’s Lydia Simiyu the winners of 2021 Cape Town Marathon

Stephen Mokoka is the winner of the men’s division of the 2021 edition of the Cape Town Marathon.

He completed the race in an official time of 2:10:01.

He also won the race in 2018.

In second place is another South African, Gebru Redahgne, with a time of 2:10:17.

Tebello Ramakongoana, from Lesotho, finished in third place.

In the women’s race, Lydia Simiyu, from Kenya, took first place with an official winning time of 2:25:44.

Lucy Karimi, also from Kenya, was in second place, with a time of 2:25:56.

Aynalem Teferi was third.

South Africa’s Gerda Steyn, finished in the fourth position.
