SA’s covid-19 recovery rate gradually improving

The national Health Department says South Africa’s Covid-19 recovery rate is slowly but surely improving again.

According to the latest data from the department, the country’s recovery rate yesterday increased to 91% after standing at 90.8% the day before.

On July 8, South Africa reported a recovery rate of 87.2%.

The country reported a recovery-rate of 94.1% on 24 May, before the start of the third wave.
