SA’s Covid-19 death increases to 98,298

The Department of Health says 2,800 new Covid-19 infections have been reported in the past 24 hours.

In the last 24 to 48 hours four Covid-19-related deaths have been recorded.

The country’s Covid-19 death toll currently stands at 98,298.

In the past 24 hours, more than 73,000 vaccinations have also been administered.

Total vaccinations stand at more than 30.8-million.

To date, more than 18.8-million residents have been vaccinated.
