SA Human Rights Commission calls for catch-up plan for pupils who have lost out on teaching because of rotational learning during the Covid-19 pandemic

Published on

The South African Human Rights Commission has called for a catch-up plan for pupils who have lost out on teaching, because of rotational learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Commission, in a statement earlier today, said it remains concerned that learners lost out on up to 15 months of teaching as a result of rotation time-tabling.

The SAHRC called on the Department of Basic Education to devise and implement a credible and funded catch-up plan, to assist schools and learners.
