Resilient Ambassador Jessie Julius

Published on

Jesse Julius, one of the former coaches from the BT Football Association, who recently returned from a harrowing experience in Portugal, paid us a visit to share more details around the ordeal. Jesse, his fellow coaches, and a group of young South African footballers were left stranded after attending an international tournament, with no flights home and limited resources.

As the story gained attention, media personality Tracey Lange, along with her husband and other community members, stepped in to rally support and raise funds to bring the group back safely. It became a powerful reminder of what South Africans can do when they come together. Jesse shares more about what happened, how the team stayed strong through it all, and what’s next for him.
