Researchers say the virus that causes the common cold may be able to boot the Covid-19 virus out of the body’s cells. University of Glasgow scientists infected a replica of a human airway with both the Sars-CoV-2 and the rhinovirus, which causes the common cold. They found that if the 2 viruses are released at the same time, only the rhinovirus is successful.
