President Cyril Ramaphosa says South Africa will use its virtual presence at the United Nations General Assembly to advocate for Africa to have a permanent representation on the UN Security Council.
The UN is currently meeting in New York for its 75th General Assembly.
Topics under discussion over several days include the Covid-19 pandemic, racism, inequality, climate change and poverty.
Ramaphosa, who addressed the assembly yesterday, says an inclusive future should be built for all the world’s citizens:
