President Cyril Ramaphosa this morning unveiled a statue in honour of the late struggle stalwart Oliver Reginald Tambo at the OR Tambo International Airport. The nine-metre tall bronze statue stands outside the international arrivals terminal, and comes 103 years since the birth of the globally respected leader. Ramaphosa says prominently displaying the country’s history remains important.
