President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged pharmaceutical companies to start making their covid-19 vaccine technologies available to countries, to allow more nations to start manufacturing their own vaccines.

The president participated in the Friends of Multi-lateralism’s Roundtable this week, which focused on the work of the Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response. He says making the technologies and vaccine-formulae available holds many benefits for all.
