Mienke began her radio career, in 2019, as a co-host on the afternoon drive show for OFM. Prior to radio, Mienke took part in various modelling and acting showcases that took her to New York and Germany. At the age of 19, Mienke was crowned Miss Free State…It was here where she found her passion for the beauty and entertainment industry. Outside of Radio, she has a passion for TV and music and recently won a Liberty Radio Bright Star Award.

What is your favourite TV show at the moment?

I will forever love The Office with Steve Carrell but recently watched MAID which was amazing. Also hated Squid Game

If you weren’t in radio – what would you be doing?

I would be working in Marketing in the Entertainment industry. I have an honours degree in Marketing and have a passion for it.

What music is currently on repeat in your car/house/phone?

My music taste is very weird. Anything very melodic I’ll enjoy.
