JM began his career at MFM 92.6 – an independent radio station, situated on the campus of the University of Stellenbosch – in 2011. In 2013 JM joined the weekday Breakfast Show between 06:00 and 10:00.

JM has been nominated for several MTN Radio Awards: Best Campus Breakfast Show (2014), Best Daytime Campus Show and Best On-Air Packaging (2015). He also won several MFM Awards in 2016: Best Produced Ad Award, Exemplary Service to MFM, Best Weekday Show, Best On-Air Team and Presenter of the Year.

Listen to JM on Saturday and Sundays from 10am – 2pm.

In addition to presenting; JM is a voice artist, is involved in audio production.
