Benito Vergotine has been on the airwaves since 1991. He started his radio career at C-Flat, a community station in Ottery. During his time at C-Flat, Benito was afforded the opportunity to experience every aspect of radio: from production, to strategy, the market and on-air engagements. This proficiency made for a fluid transition into commercial radio, KFM, where he spent the better part of 12 years.

Benito was a freelance sports anchor for eTV for 3 years, where besides live on camera presentation, his duties included, writing stories and completing rundowns.

In 2013 Benito joined Smile 90.4FM. He currently hosts the late night talk show ‘The Honest Truth’ which is on air Monday to Thursday between 9pm and 11pm.

Away from radio, Benito is involved in internal marketing for retail clients, production, presenter training and coaching. He is also a voice over artist and master of ceremonies.
