Premier Alan Winde says according to their latest data, the Central Karoo District Municipality has the lowest proportion of residents who have registered for their covid-19 vaccine.

Winde says he has dispatched Community Liaison Officers to the Central Karoo this week, to go into communities to assist residents to register. The Premier says no person should be left behind. Inoculations in non-Metro areas kicked off in earnest this week. Head of Health Dr Keith Cloete says more rural sites will be strategically opened.
