Post-graduate NSFAS-dependent students to be assisted through National Skills Fund

The Minister of Higher Education and Science, Blade Nzimande says despite Government’s focus to prioritize NSFAS-funding for those who are entering University for the first time, students pursuing post-graduate qualifications will also be assisted financially.

The Minister provided an update on the the roll-out of financial assistance to NSFAS-dependent students yesterday.

He said that returning-students, who did their part and performed academically well, will continue to be funded by the Scheme.

He says post-graduate students will be assisted through the National Skills Fund, to continue their academic-careers.
