Published on

If you happen to be around the Cape Town City Bowl this Saturday (26 October) and the next (2-3 November), don’t be alarmed if you hear gunfire, they are filming an episode for a US docu-drama called “Outlaws and Gunmen” in the Mother City.

The episode they are filming in Cape Town is about the notorious bank robber John Dillinger.

Locations for the film shoot include the FNB building in Adderley street, Mutual Heights on Darling street, and the area around the Western Cape High Court.

The Councillor for Ward 115 Ian McMahon posted about it on his Facebook page to raise awareness.

The film shoot over the next two weekends will entail road closures and mock gunfire, including a machine gun and individual shots sounds and noises.

Scenes include John Dillinger robbing a few CBD banks, featuring gunfire inside buildings, as well as gunfire as he exits the “banks”.
