Multi-BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominee Olivia Dean has officially released her highly anticipated second album, The Art of Loving.

The album, produced with longtime collaborator Zach Nahome, arrives with the lead single So Easy (To Fall in Love) and its accompanying visual.

According to her label, Capitol Records, the album marks a thoughtful exploration of love in all its forms, weaving together stories of romance, friendship, self-worth, and vulnerability.

With her signature blend of neo-soul warmth and pop sensibility, Dean delivers a collection of tracks that balance honesty with nostalgia.

Songs such as Let Alone the One They Love, Loud, and Close Up highlight her ability to capture intimacy through soulful songwriting, while A Couple Minutes and the previously released Lady Lady showcase her hallmark sound.

“I don’t think this is a cynical thing to say but I don’t think love is just magic that happens to you, I think you’ve got to put the time in, it’s a craft, it’s like playing an instrument or any other skill… I’m a romantic, hopelessly hopelessly. And I suppose I’m trying to just bring a little bit of love, and loving, back into your life.” says Dean

Dean’s debut album Messy established her as one of the UK’s most compelling new voices, and she has since achieved record-breaking milestones, becoming the first British female artist since Adele to secure three UK Top 10 singles.

Her track Man I Need also became the highest-charting UK song on Spotify’s Global Charts this year.

With The Art of Loving, Dean begins a striking new chapter in her artistry, cementing her place as one of the UK’s most captivating talents.
