A new biographical drama musical film about the life of reggae singer and songwriter Bob Marley is set to hit cinemas in February 2024.
Bob Marley: One Love is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green with a screenplay by Green, Terence Winter, Frank E. Flowers, and Zach Baylin from a story by Winter and Flowers.
It is based on the life of Marley, from his rise to fame up until his death in 1981.
The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Marley, alongside Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley, Jesse Cilio as Norval Marley, and James Norton as Chris Blackwell.
Bob Marley: One Love is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 14, 2024, by Paramount Pictures.
The film’s title was announced by producer Ziggy Marley at CinemaCon in April 2023.
The film celebrates the life and music of an icon who inspired generations through his message of love and unity.
Brad Pitt is also one of the executive producers.
