MyCiti N2 Express bus service resumes operations

Published on

The MyCiti N2 Express bus service has officially resumed operations on Saturday, 19 February.

The service was suspended at the end of May 2019.

The resumption comes after a new operating contract was signed with the N2 Company.

The Express bus service operates between Mitchells Plain, Khayelitsha and the Cape Town CBD.

Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis partook in the festivities and joined passengers on a trip to the CBD.

The City of Cape Town will, over a period of four weeks, gradually add more buses to the routes as more commuters return to the service.

The intention is to have the whole fleet of 34 buses operational by 19 March 2022.
