The Department of Health says more than 830-thousand South Africans, aged between 18 and 35, have now registered for their Covid-19 vaccination.

The Deputy director-general at the Department, Dr. Nicholas Crisp says opening registrations and vaccinations for this group significantly boosted the country’s vaccination drive.

More than 61-thousand people, between the ages of 20 and 29, and 30 and 39, were vaccinated in South Africa last week Friday.
