Published on

The missing teen from Valhalla Park has been found and reunited with her family.

An urgent search has been launched for 16-year-old Raeesa Nixon, after she failed to show up at school on Monday morning.

Later that same day, she reportedly contacted a friend saying she was in Cape Town and didn’t have money to return home.

Her family had searched the CBD area but could not find her.

The case was officially reported on Tuesday, and the Bishop Lavis FCS Unit was joined by the Cape Town FCS Unit in their search for Nixon.

On Wednesday, 30 July, she was found and returned home.
