Minister of Basic Education Angie Mothskega said she is confident that the vaccination of teachers would be completed by 8 July.

Mosthekga is currently in Gauteng to monitor the progress of the vaccination program there.

She called on education union leaders to encourage their members to get vaccinated.

Teachers are being inoculated with the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
