Law enforcement officials say they are ready for any potential attacks in the taxi industry this week.

This as the result of the closure of the taxi route and several taxi ranks between Bellville and Mbekweni, outside the Paarl CBD. The police’s brigadier Novela Potelwa says the closure is in a bid to prevent taxi-related violence.
