Justice Minister Ronald Lamola opposes extension of the Zondo Commission into State Capture

Justice Minister, Ronald Lamola today filed papers at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria to halt the application for yet another extension of the Zondo Commission into State Capture.

Lamola says Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo’s application for another extension of the State Capture Inquiry is unconstitutional.

He also wants the High Court to cap the commission’s future costs at R15 million.

The court application is due to be heard on Wednesday.
