IN FULL: LEVEL 4 REGULATIONS GAZETTED

Published on

Minister of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma has announced a number of changes to lockdown regulations as the country will come into an eased lockdown from midnight 30 April, which will allow people to exercise outside and order food to be delivered.

More than 70 000 comments were received by government after first announcing draft regulations at the weekend. Smokers were meanwhile readying themselves to buy cigarettes from tomorrow but it has come as a surprise that government has decided against the sale of cigarettes, citing health reasons.

Dlamini-Zuma says more than 22 000 people wanted the regulations to allow for exercise, and this will be allowed, but only between 6-9am and withing 5km of your home.
