The 7th ranked team in the world – Pakistan, also known as the Green Shirts, are currently sixth in the ODI rankings and first in the T20’s.

Under the captaincy of Sarfraz Ahmed, Pakistan have some exciting new talent – from the pacy fast bowler Mohammad Amir to left-arm fast bowler Usman Shinwari. New kid on the block Shaheen Afridi, will also be a player to watch as his blistering bowling pace has been compared with cricket greats such as Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis.

And then there’s the young Babar Azam, who has been compared to India superstar Virat Kohli and might just be the wonder kid to help Pakistan progress.
Pakistan has the youngest squad at this year’s Cricket World Cup where the average age is 27.3.

Muhammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik are the only senior players in the list of Pakistan players for this mega cricket event but can also be dangerous when they are at their best.
It’s certain that the Green Shirts will be unpredictable during this tournament.
